Study Guide Techniques
The Heads of Department have identified the most common academic words in each subject to produce this resource for students and parents. The resource identifies commonly used words in assessments from Year 9 to Year 13 in each subject area and provides a description of the actions each word requires. This includes key words students should know for their external examinations.
A copy of our Assessment Regulations has been emailed to all Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 students on Thursday 10 March and students were asked to read these during Kaitiaki on Thursday 4th March with a copy included in the school newsletter on the same day. These are updated each year.
